Connie Manna was born and raised in New York and earned her BFA from the School of Visual Arts. As a freelance illustrator, she has worked for such diverse clients as medical magazines, advertising agencies, book publishers, general interest magazines and computer software companies. Her work was included in Society of Illustrators 28th annual exhibition and catalog and she has been a contributing artist at Corbis. 
      Ms. Manna is a member of the Artists Collective of Westport and has had several one woman shows. She has also participated in group exhibitions in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut as well as Washington DC. Her work was featured in an article by Vivien Raynor for The New York Times.
     Ms. Manna is an afterschool Art Enrichment instructor for the Norwalk Housing Authority. She is a painting instructor for the Continuing Education Dept. for the Stratford Board of Education and at Homes for the Brave in Bridgeport where she instructs her own unique painting curriculum; Paint a Masterpiece a Day. She has also taught painting classes for the after school and summer youth camp programs at the Guilford Art Center in Guilford, CT.
